Hello everyone,
I've had a great month and wanted to share some photos! I had too many great adventures to put them all in one slideshow so I'll do a 2nd one next week. First, Jeremy and I had an amazing time together, along with his co-workers, taking part in Rebuilding together. We rebuilt almost the entire home of a deserving family. It was such a nice event and we just loved the family.
I have also been busy volunteering to teach interview and modeling skills for the Miss Aquafest pageant and helping out with the production. The pageant was a really nice production and the kids just loved it!
My Cheerleading team is also doing really well! They've been volunteering all over and cheering for the Bellingham Blitz Football team. I couldn't be more proud of how they're helping our community and spreading the word about fitness.
We also had a great workshop for pageant ladies in Seattle and I got a chance to chat with some really amazing Ladies!
Yesterday was the Susan G. Komen Fund Race for the Cure and I'm so proud to say that our team, Queens for a Cure, won the award for most funds raised by a non-profit with almost $15,000!! Now that's the power of the crown!!

Hello and Welcome!
My name is Laura Hunter. I am honored to be Mrs. Washington Internationl 2011.
Here's a little information about me. I am a wife and mother of two fabulous girls ages seven and 1 year. I am also a professional photographer and owner of Beyond Photography in Bellingham, Washington.
Over the past few years I have dedicated much of my time to volunteer efforts. I am a trained Disaster First Responder with the Red Cross and volunteer for many charities in my area. I co-founded the Pacific Panthers Organization. We are a non profit volunteer adult cheerleading organization that promotes healthy lifestyles at local schools and youth clubs. I was recently honored with the President's Volunteer Service award for donating over 350 hours of my time to charity in the past 12 months.
I also enjoy modeling and acting. You can see me in print and television advertisements for Nintendo Wii, Microsoft, Bissell, Emerites Airlines, Toyota, the Seattle Mariners and many others.
I am excited to report that I am currently a cast member on a reality TV show being aired on Fox Sports. We are filming all over the USA and very excited for our show to air in April of this year!
I am a strong believer in healthy living and family togetherness. That's why I decided to champion the platform of "Family Fitness - Healthy choices for strong families!" We are very active in my household and we chose to spend time together in a number of healthy and active activities. My daughter dances, I coach cheerleading, my husband and I work out together and we all have a great time at each other's endeavors. We're not only staying healthy, but we're always getting closer as a family as we support one another. We believe that less screen time and more real life fun is one of the best things a family can do for each other.
I am so fortunate to have such a supportive family! We all travel together as well as attending football games, dance competitions, cheerleading events, and we also enjoy a lot of fun outdoor time. I am also very fortunate to have the support of the Pacific Panthers Organization. They have been so great cheering me on and always being supportive of my appearances and volunteer schedule!
